Cannero-Donego
The route winds through the wood that connects the two villages. Steep path at the beginning and then gentle up to the final climb at the entrance to the village.
Cannero-Donego via Cassino
the journey begins with the walk to the lake, a short section connecting the two paths on the main road and then uphill towards Cassino. Reached Cassino there are two options to reach Donego, with the path in the woods or on the carriage road.
Cannero-Trarego
The route starts from Cannero at 220 meters above sea level up to Trarego at 770 meters above sea level. Half of the path takes place on a paved road and the other half on a mule track. Much of the route is in the shade, therefore recommended in the summer months.

Cannero-Cannobio
the path that connects the two villages is a portion of the path of the via delle genti that connected all the villages of the Piedmontese shore in the past when there was no road along the lake. Halfway through we find the village of Carmine Superiore. Dating back to the year one thousand where it had the function of a stronghold for the population who lived by the lake, it then became inhabited and in the 14th century the Church of San Gottardo was built which can be admired. Suspended on the rock overlooking the lake with a superb panorama, it is surrounded by the village which has been gradually restructured and inhabited.

Cannobio: the market takes place on Sundays, the stalls are located on the lake promenade.
The timetable is between 8.00 and 14.00.
Luino: the market is held every Wednesday and is considered the largest on Lake Maggiore. The opening hours are from 8.00 to 16.00.
Intra: the market is on Saturdays and winds through the squares of the historic centre. The opening hours are from 8.00 to 16.00.
Cannero: the local market is held on Friday morning from 8.00 to 12.00
Zip line Lago Maggiore
is pure fun with a descent hanging from a steel cable 350 meters above the ground. In Aurano, Alpe Segletta, about 15 km from Verbania.
Wonderwood
on the mountains behind Cannero, just 15 minutes by car, we find the Wonderwood amusement park. From children to adults we find a playground, adventure trails with different levels of difficulty for children and adults.
Anyone wishing to add a walk could also reach the giant bench placed on top of the hill and enjoy the full view of the lake from north to south.
Valgrande National Park
for the more experienced there would be the possibility of visiting the Valgrande Park. Given the nature of the park as a wild and impervious area, a visit with expert guides is recommended.
Shopping: all the most important shops for clothing, footwear, etc. are located in Intra while if you want a total immersion in the world of shopping, a few kilometers away we find, in Gravellona, the “le Isole” shopping center and the “i laghi” shopping center.
Natural saline baths
on the lake shore at the pools of Locarno where you can enjoy the naturally warm saline water in a lakeside path.
Space: about 20 minutes by car from Cannero we find this structure which offers various activities to entertain the whole family.
