Cannobio
Is the last town before the border with Switzerland, it offers a beautiful walk along the lakefront that starts from the area of the old fishermen’s houses up to the Lido area where there are green spaces, the beach and the possibility of water sports.
The Borgo has kept its historical identity intact and in the narrow streets that unwind from the lake towards the center there are shops offering typical products and shops offering Made in Italy clothing and accessories.
Pallanza/Suna
The historic center is crossed by ancient districts and squares. The lakefront of Pallanza is considered one of the most suggestive of Lake Maggiore with a view of the Borromean Islands. The walk can be extended up to Suna. Behind the center near the slopes of Mount Monterosso we can visit the Romanesque church of Madonna di Campagna. Pallanza also houses the Landscape Museum which collects works by local artists and periodically also offers exhibitions by other artists.

The town is located in front of Pallanza and on the side of the Borromean Islands. Famous for its pink granite quarries, it is of Roman origin. It has a very suggestive walk along the lake and not to be missed is a visit to the parish church of SS. Gervasio and Protasio and the Baptistery which can be reached via a staircase that starts from the promenade.
Stresa
The town overlooks the lake just in front of the Borromean Islands. Stresa has a long hotel tradition that began at the end of the 1800s and on the lake promenade you can admire the luxurious Art Nouveau hotels. The historic center is always animated with bars and restaurants with picturesque terraces. Worth remembering are the Stresa music weeks, an event that offers classical music lovers a variety of concerts organized in the most evocative places in the municipality of Stresa.
